La patisserie des reves: a magical patisserie
Here is an address I wanted to share with you. Along with Pierre Herme’s bakeries, La Patisserie des Reves belongs to my favourites in Paris. Located in St Germain des Prés district, this place will surprise you at first sight with the recipes presentation. And therein lies the whole concept: working classic recipes from a different angle. A real delight!
We owe these creations to Philippe Conticini. If you do not already know him, here is a short portrait to catch up;-)
This brilliant pastry chef cut his teeth as head of prestigious restaurants in France, New York and Tokyo. His trademark? A taste for emotions of his childhood, that he loves to make revive through his books and pastries. Philippe Conticini manages to create amazing recipes from ingredients of our closets and shows that the daily cooking can be too delicate and tasty. To see him in action: cuisine.tv
Addresses : 93 rue du bac – 75007 PARIS. Tea room: 111 rue de Longchamps – 75016 PARIS

Yes, indeed French desserts are the best. Fine delicacies, rather then taste less sugary sponges :)
Looking forward to visit the restaurant you mentioned here and have my own review for it. The desserts looks good and entices me so much. Can’t wait to visit that place someday.
French pastries at its best. That’s one of the many reasons why I do love French kitchenomics.
Salut Laeti !
Bises !
Manon
